Fire walls
Separate building sections and are mandated by BauO NRW § 28 — standard requirement T90.
90 minutes of fire resistance for maximum security. T90 doors are required in fire walls, high-rise stairwells, industrial buildings, server rooms and special-construction buildings. Classified EI₂90 to the applicable proofs of usability — three times the protection of T30.

A T90 fire door withstands fire and heat in the standard fire test for at least 90 minutes. Classified T90 to the applicable proofs of usability or EI₂90 to the applicable proofs of usability. T90 is significantly more demanding than T30: higher requirements for the leaf, frame, wall type and joint. T90 doors are usually combined with smoke control ("-RS") and frequently with hold-open systems — they remain open in daily use and only close automatically in a fire. The fire protection concept of the building and the industrial-construction directive or the relevant special-construction code govern.
T90 is technically demanding. We recommend the variant suited to wall, fire load and appearance.
Standard for T90 — robust, available in all sizes, best availability and the lowest price.
For premium interior areas, foyers and representative fire-wall transitions — slim profiles, high-end appearance.
Fire-rated glazing — possible but significantly more expensive than solid or T30 glass.
Standard for openings up to about 1,250 mm wide.
For wide industrial openings and transport routes — with mandatory closing-sequence control.
Open in daily use, closing automatically in a fire via fire alarm or smoke detector.
Prices are indicative including VAT. A binding quote follows an on-site survey and substrate check.
We cover every typical building type — from residential to industrial complexes with hundreds of components per site.
Separate building sections and are mandated by BauO NRW § 28 — standard requirement T90.
Above a defined building height (high-rise directive / HHR NRW) — T90-RS doors with self-closing.
Per the industrial-construction directive — separation of fire compartments, storage of hazardous substances.
Asset protection for IT infrastructure — often combined with access control and climate sealing.
Hospitals, assembly venues, hotels — where the special-construction code requires it.
Storage, workshops, transformer stations — wherever the fire-load comparison demands T90.
Higher requirements for concrete, masonry or specific drywall constructions — substrate check before installation is mandatory.
T90 doors weigh significantly more than T30 — the frame must be correspondingly load-bearing and approved in the tested wall combination.
Stricter testing of the joint — only fire-protective mortar per the approval, no construction foam.
Fire-rated glazing EI₂90 is possible, significantly more expensive than T30 glass.
Double-leaf T90 doors require closing-sequence control to ensure correct closing order.
Every T90 installation is documented with declaration of conformity, approval label and installation record; annual inspection is required afterwards.
T90 demands experience. We bring statics, frame and wall combination into an approved combination — and document every step.

Brand-agnostic — all common systems with approval and test certificate.
Trained fitters with current manufacturer records — a precondition for valid approval.
Declaration of conformity, approval label, installation record — audit-proof for authorities and insurers.
Annual inspection in accordance with the applicable proofs of usability with logbook and defect record.
Pillar page covering all classes and configurations.
Standard for corridors, stairwells, apartment entrances.
Replacement in the existing stock, often after a defects list.
Complementary for steel beams and fire-compartment elements.
Inspection and maintenance in accordance with the applicable proofs of usability.
