As of 11 May 2026

The controller responsible for data processing on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
Abels Fire Protection Systems An der Femeiche 7 46325 Borken Phone: +49 2861 8114387 Email: [email protected]
2. General Information
The protection of your personal data is important to us. We process your data exclusively on the basis of statutory provisions (GDPR, BDSG, TTDSG).
Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person — such as name, address, email address or IP address.
3. Provision of the Website and Server Log Files
When you access this website, our hosting provider automatically collects information transmitted by your browser (so-called server log files):
— IP address of the requesting device — date and time of the request — name and URL of the file retrieved — amount of data transferred — notification of successful retrieval — browser type and version — operating system — referrer URL
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in the technically error-free operation and security of the website). The data is deleted after 30 days at the latest, unless security-relevant incidents require longer storage.
4. Hosting
This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestraße 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, in a German data centre. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with Hetzner.
The legal basis for using this hosting provider is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and reliable operation of the website).
Further information on data protection at Hetzner: https://www.hetzner.com/legal/privacy-policy/
5. Contact and Email Delivery
If you contact us by email, phone or via a contact form on this website, the data you provide (name, contact details, where applicable company, subject, service, and the content of your message) will be processed to handle your request. In addition, technical metadata (IP address, user agent, timestamp) is processed for the purposes of abuse prevention and spam filtering.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (initiation or performance of a contract) or Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to the enquiry and in the security of our systems).
For the delivery of the email triggered by the contact form, we use the email service of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The data submitted via the form is transferred to Hetzner for this purpose and processed on servers in Germany (EU). The processing takes place under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Further information: https://www.hetzner.com/legal/privacy-policy/
We delete the resulting data as soon as it is no longer required to process your enquiry — at the latest upon expiry of the statutory retention periods (generally 6 or 10 years under § 257 HGB / § 147 AO).
6. Cookies
This website only uses technically necessary cookies (or comparable strictly necessary local storage). Specifically, a cookie is set to remember your selected language (German / English). Details can be found in our cookie policy.
7. Reach Measurement with Umami
For the statistical evaluation of the use of our website, we use the open-source analytics software "Umami". Umami is operated by us on our own server at Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany (self-hosted). No data is transferred to third parties or to third countries.
Umami operates without cookies and does not create personally identifiable user profiles. Only anonymised metrics are collected, such as page accessed, referrer, approximate country (based on a truncated IP address), browser, operating system and screen resolution. The IP address itself is not stored.
Since, in our assessment, no personal data within the meaning of § 25 TTDSG / GDPR is processed and no information is read from or stored on your terminal device within the meaning of § 25 (1) TTDSG, no consent is required. The legal basis for the statistical evaluation as such is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in needs-based design and optimisation of our website).
8. Session Recording with Intellize Recorder
To analyse usability we use the self-hosted "Intellize Recorder" (tr.intellize.de, operated by Intellize at Hetzner, Germany). It captures anonymised session recordings (mouse movements, clicks, scrolling, page views). Form-field inputs and sensitive content are masked client-side before transmission (mask level "moderate"). The maximum recording length per session is 5 minutes.
The recorder accesses information on your terminal device and briefly stores data for session reconstruction. The legal basis is your consent pursuant to § 25 (1) TTDSG and Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. Consent is voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. Without consent, the recorder is not loaded.
No data is transferred to third parties or third countries. Recordings are deleted after 30 days at the latest.
9. Fonts (Self-Hosted)
The fonts used on this website ("Source Serif 4", "Space Grotesk", "Inter") are served exclusively from our own server (Hetzner, Germany). No connection is made to Google Fonts or any other third-party provider; your IP address is not transmitted to third parties for this purpose.
10. Maps (OpenStreetMap)
We display our location via map tiles from the OpenStreetMap Foundation (OSMF), St John's Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge CB4 0WS, United Kingdom. When loading the map, your IP address is transmitted to OSMF. The United Kingdom is subject to an adequacy decision of the European Commission pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (presentation of our location). Further information: https://wiki.osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy
